Welcome to the Dark Side...

Took the plunge to the 'dark' side...Completely abstract. No recognisable elements. My prejudice, about abstract painters that 'can't paint and become famous', surfaced.

However..... It was an incredibly liberating experience. I worked with layers of thin paint on a textured surface and allowed the painting to happen. Sometimes I had to wait for a few days before a little spark of inspiration resurfaced and slowly it came together as the painting you see here.
